My opinion is that content always wins, not necessarily the transport medium.
FM has a couple of things going for it for sure. Mainly its ability to go “live and local” in both personality and content. That is the reason that Stern got his butt kicked in Detroit in the 90’s. He couldn’t compete with the local “flair.” Now, Detroit might be one of those exceptions in the audience’s desire for a “Detroit experience…” But I don’t think so.
