What has happened to people? Meh, maybe people were always assholes. I have been looking for some support for a screen capture app I am using. I am running the dev preview of Mt Lion on my MacBook, I am about 98% sure that is the source of my WONKY video when using this application.

So, I am reading the user forums looking for an obvious sign I am on the right track, and maybe a hint of a beta I can grab to get my bit of a project completed. It dawns on me about ten posts in that most of the these “problems” have NOTHING to do with anything support in nature. No, but alot to do with how a person thinks the app is crap because it doesn’t do X, or another thinks the dev is crap because he did Y instead of Z. My favorite is from a guy who is using a G5 imac that claims he will write a bad review on the Mac App Store because his app doesn’t support Leopard any more. Really? That dumas would have to login into a newer Mac just to get to the App store to post his lame review… REALLY?!

People and their opinions. Sure, everyone is entitled to an opinion. But, when did people get so whiny and when did douchebaggery become the standard and politeness become the exception?

I might become the Vigilante Troll of support forums everywhere. Standing up for devs that choose to support new operating systems, and to call assholes out on their stupid shite daily! Heh. Dreams…
